How much does a personal care assistant cost?
The price of a care aide usually varies depending on the type of tasks that are required. However, the average cost ranges from $25-$30/hour.
What are the qualifications of your personal care assistants (PCAs)?
Our PCA are Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs). That means they’ve received specialized training and earned a certificate after graduating. Since we’re a private duty/companion care agency we don’t legally need to hire HHAs. However, our company prides ourselves in our quality of care and that’s why we hire HHAs. All of our aides are legal citizens in the USA and are all are background checked.
What does a personal support worker do?
Our services range from companionship and light housekeeping to nurse assessments and Alzheimer’s & Dementia care. What sets us apart from other personal care agencies is that our caregivers really do care. We love to spend time with our clients and really get to know them and understand their needs. We develop long lasting relationships, which has proven to be mutually beneficial for our caregivers and their clients.
What Our Clients Say
“Elder Home Care is a life saver. I needed a caregiver for my parents. They needed assistance in the home with basic ADLs. They sent a wonderful, compassionate caregiver for my parents. She interacts with them and makes sure they eat and take their medications and overall are safe in there home. I have my peace of mind when I am not there. Highly recommend.”
